Water and Wastewater Treatment:
Dumont is presently serving the chemical requirements for over 500 water and wastewater plants throughout the State of Florida. We service a wide range of customers whose requirements range from a 5-gallon pail to a 330-gallon tote or a 50# bag to a pallet of bags, or a truck or tanker load.
Disinfection
- Dumont offers all forms of
chlorine including Odyssey's
Ultra Chlor bleach, chlorine gas
and calcium hypochlorite.
For making chloramines, use our
non-hazardous, non-fuming
ammonium sulfate.
pH Adjusters - Whether adjusting portable water or wastewater effluent, we offer acids and alkalis for modifying the pH.
Corrosion Inhibitors - We offer customized blends of polyphosphates for sequestering minerals and orthophosphates for corrosion protection.
Mini-Bulk Delivery - Most of our water treatment chemicals are available in Mini-Bulk. We will size the tank to fit your usage requirements and fill as needed.

Swimming Pool
Products:
Dumont is a full service supplier for swimming pool chemicals and supplies for over 200 commercial pools in Florida. We also can provide and install all tanks and chemical feed equipment necessary to completely outfit the pool.
Mini-Bulk Delivery
- We will install tanks sized to
fit your usage for sodium
hypochlorite and 38% pool acid
and fill the tanks as required.
Agriculture:
In addition to a host of general chemicals that are used in agriculture, Dumont has several products that are specifically used in irrigation, packing houses and commercial nurseries.
Irrigation System
Additive -
A dilute acidic
compound that can be
used for cleaning
lime scale due to
mineral precipitant
and for maintaining
lines after
cleaning. It
is also used to
treat
bicarbonate-induced
iron deficiency, or
alkaline block.
Irrigation System Treatment - An economic blend of polyphosphates that can be used as a sequestering agent for mineral precipitants. This formula suspends the minerals and allows them to flow through the system without building-up on the walls of the tubing or plugging the emitters.
